Hello there! My name is Alessandro, and I’m a Ph.D. student in the Intelligent Systems and Robotics program at the University of West Florida. My research focuses on enhancing cooperation in Multi-agent Reinforcement Learning systems in resource- and communication-constrained environments. Some scenarios I’ve had the chance to work on include multi-agent cooperative navigation, networking scenarios (ad-hoc mobile networks, vehicular networks), and resource allocation scenarios.

Since November 2022, I have been a Research Associate at IHMC, working with Dr. Niranjan Suri and his team on the ARL Intelligent Systems project.

Prior to my Ph.D., I was a student at the University of Ferrara, Italy, where I pursued both a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Informatics Engineering and a master’s degree in Automation and Informatics Engineering. During my master’s program, I was selected for a double degree in Computer Sciences at the University of West Florida.

My hobbies include watchmaking, hiking, and cooking.
